2. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

We process personal data only when we have a lawful basis:

  • Contract performance — to fulfil orders and provide our services.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Legitimate interest — to operate, secure, and improve our site, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies, and marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Payment Processing & Stripe

We use Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers. Stripe processes your data as an independent data controller under its own Privacy Policy. Stripe is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Data Sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to deliver the site.
  • Legal authorities — when required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or other approved safeguards under GDPR Chapter V.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Transaction records are retained for the legally required accounting period. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

8. Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)

Under EU/EEA data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict processing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For Germany, the competent authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (BlnBDI).

9. Automated Decision-Making

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this site. The "Effective date" above indicates the latest revision.

12. Data Protection Officer
